All Saints Church of England Primary is a thriving one form entry school in the heart of Coventry. Role overview
We are looking to appoint 3 enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our team. This role will involve supporting children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a particular focus on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), working both in class and in small group settings. The successful candidate will also provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with specific needs.
Key responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning within the classroom and in small group interventions.
- Provide 1:1 support for children with special educational needs.
- Assist with planning and delivering tailored interventions under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
- Help to create an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
We are looking for someone who
- Holds an NVQ Level 2 childcare-related qualification (or equivalent).
- Has a good understanding of how children learn and develop.
- Ideally has experience of working in a primary school setting.
- Has experience or interest in working with children with specific and/or complex needs
- Can work effectively with individuals and small groups of children.
- Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and able to show initiative.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Is able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community.
- Has a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children.
- Supports our Christian ethos as a church school.

The role will be paid at Grade 2 or 3, dependent on experience and will be fixed term whilst pupil remains in school and/or top up funding is in place.
