Joseph Cash Primary School is looking for a caring, proactive and reflective Teaching Assistant to join our Reception team and support high-quality early years provision.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years setting
  • Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Is committed to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
  • Can build positive relationships with children, staff and families
  • Brings energy, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
  • Works effectively as part of a team and uses initiative when needed
  • Is willing to contribute to a stimulating, engaging learning environment

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS, all relevant safeguarding and pre-employment clearances, and the receipt of two satisfactory references. Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre-employment check with effect 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.

Work pattern: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, fixed term for year 26/27.
