Overview
To provide support to children, young people and their families through the delivery of a varied family support offer to improve outcomes for children aligned to the Supporting Families Programme. Your role will be to undertake Early Help assessments and act as the lead practitioner, to assess, co‑ordinate, plan and deliver integrated and intense family support as part of a multi‑agency Early Help plan. You will be based in one of our Family Hubs.

- 7 × 37 hour posts (one maternity leave cover)
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK. We are not offering sponsorship. The post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; appointment will be conditional upon a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Responsibilities
- Undertake Early Help assessments and act as the lead practitioner.
- Assess, coordinate, plan and deliver integrated and intense family support as part of a multi‑agency Early Help plan.
- Work with children, young people, families and partners from diverse backgrounds, including homes and other settings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Enthusiastic and motivated individuals able to build effective relationships with children, young people, families and partners.
- Outcome‑focused with the ability to see children through a whole‑family approach.
- Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds in a variety of environments.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo DBS check.
