Job Role

We are currently looking for warm, positive, and dedicated individuals to work in our Adult Social Care Services team, providing person‑centred support to adults with a variety of complex needs within Housing with Care. You will promote independence and personalised approaches in a safe, respectful, and dignified manner; giving people choice and control over the services they are using and ensuring the best possible outcomes for individuals. Working alongside our dedicated team you will provide personal, practical, emotional, and social support to individuals, enabling them to have a great quality of life as important and valued members of the local community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands‑on, person‑centred support to adults with complex needs.
  • Promote independence and personalised approaches in a safe, respectful, and dignified manner.
  • Provide personal, practical, emotional, and social support to enable a great quality of life.
  • Work physically fit, flexible, patient and non‑judgmental, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of Service Users.
  • Support individuals to achieve the best possible outcomes, working with management to ensure all Service User needs are met.
  • Use own initiative and respond flexibly to the needs of Service Users, promoting dignity, respect, and choice at all times.

Qualifications

  • Ideally, you will either have a Diploma 2 or equivalent (NVQ 3 in Social Care).
  • Have a good knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Be able to work with management to ensure that all Service Users\’ needs are being met to support their individual outcomes.
  • Be able to use own initiative and respond flexibly to the needs of Service Users.

We have permanent, temporary and relief posts. These posts are day posts that have fixed hours/shifts. You will need to work early, late, and alternate weekends based on a rota. You will be required to work between the hours of 7.00 am and 10.00 pm.
