We are looking for someone with physical stamina who is conscientious and self-motivated, has initiative and creativity, great observational skills and the ability to be pro-active in identifying and resolving tasks as they occur.

Responsibilities
- Lock and / or unlock the school; to include locking up school each day.
- Carry out and record security / site checks on the buildings and grounds
- Be responsible for the Health & Safety of those on site; help maintain Health and Safety records, including COSHH
- Maintenance of property and grounds to a high standard including carrying out daily safety checks, reactive repair works, litter picking, leaf clearance and snow clearance and gritting during adverse weather conditions.
- Liaising with outside contractors undertaking work on behalf of the school.
- Monitor site premises stock and order supplies
- Manage a team of 4 cleaners to provide a clean and safe environment
- Willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety
Qualifications and requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS. Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre-employment check, please note an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
