Overview
The Governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a fixed term Nursery Playworker role within our Phoenix Nursery team to start 6 January 2026. The role is initially on a fixed term contract to run until 31 December 2026. The role will be for 32.5 hours per week term time only. The successful applicant will work alongside senior practitioners in the daily operation of the nursery.

The candidate will join a highly enthusiastic and well-established team within our Phoenix Nursery. The successful candidate must be able to provide a caring and stimulating environment for all children within the setting. The candidate must be able to support the nursery manager in delivering the early years curriculum to all of the children. The applicant must be motivated and have a positive attitude, and be able to facilitate development through play, promote inclusion for all children within the busy nursery and hold the relevant qualification.
