John Shelton Community Primary School is a popular, thriving school situated in the Holbrooks area of Coventry. Our intake of pupils reflects our diverse community. We believe that our school and our children are truly special. We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and motivated individual committed to ensuring that all children make progress. Responsibilities

  • Be passionate about working with children with special educational needs.
  • Have the skills to provide and support outstanding learning opportunities for our lovely children.
  • Be passionate about self‑improvement and developing practice.
  • Believe wholeheartedly in ensuring our children achieve the very best.
  • Support our children in their academic as well as social and emotional development.
  • Be able to form strong, professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
  • Support the class teacher in our newly built Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP) for 10 children with learning and cognition needs.
  • Assist in the delivery of phonics teaching (highly beneficial).
  • Experience of working with children with specific special educational needs is desirable.
