As a Fleet Assistant Apprentice you will support the smooth and efficient running of the Council's Fleet Services. You will keep fleet records up to date, process job cards and invoices, manage vehicle and equipment hire requests, assist with supplier and documentation tasks, help produce key reports and handle customer enquiries professionally. Your role will involve completing paperwork accurately to ensure the fleet remains safe, compliant and cost‑effective. Working alongside experienced colleagues and external suppliers you’ll provide reliable administrative and technical support that contributes to a well‑organised, high‑performing fleet service for the Council. You will undertake the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship standard. This is a fixed‑term contract for 21 months in line with the length of the apprenticeship training.
