The Facilities Management (FM) Service comprises several diverse and multi-disciplined teams that are responsible for the safe operation, management, maintenance and efficiency of the Council’s property assets. The teams provide a range of services and support to the Council’s operational, commercial and schools portfolios ensuring the Councils legislative obligations are fulfilled.
Compliance and Surveying Team: The Compliance Team ensure portfolio adherence to all statutory obligations in regard to maintenance and servicing and management of asbestos and fire management. In house technical specialists are responsible for the design and project management of mechanical and electrical works. The Surveying side of this function is responsible for ensuring the ongoing condition of the Council property portfolio, administrating the Council’s capital lifecycle fund, new builds and refurbishment projects.
