Overview We are looking for a skilled and driven Project Manager on a fixed‑term basis (till 31 March 2028) to support the successful delivery of a portfolio of digital projects for families in Coventry. The role involves planning, coordinating and overseeing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to organisational priorities. This position is a hybrid role, typically 2‑3 days a week onsite. Responsibilities * Lead and manage digital and ICT projects across multiple workstreams using structured methodologies. * Coordinate with internal teams, external partners and suppliers, building strong relationships to achieve project objectives. * Oversee project teams within a matrix management environment and directly line‑manage project support staff. * Make informed decisions based on research, benchmarking, process mapping and financial analysis. * Drive continuous improvement and deliver high‑quality outcomes that support the Council’s digital transformation programme. Qualifications & Experience * Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects successfully. * Strong analytical skills, with experience in research, benchmarking and process mapping. * Good understanding of financial management within projects and programmes. * Experience working in a matrix management environment and leading cross‑functional teams. * Experience in stakeholder management and building effective working relationships at all levels. * Excellent communication and organisational skills.
