The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a new Cover Supervisor role within KS2 to commence in September 2026. Wyken Croft provides an excellent environment for all stakeholders of the school. We are a large primary school in Coventry that prides itself on knowing each child and family individually, allowing our children to achieve their maximum potential. Our ‘Seven Steps to Success’ are embedded within our culture, enabling our children to be happy, engaged and positive about their futures, and striving to be the very best they can be.
Responsibilities
- Undertake appropriate planning and preparation of lessons and courses for individuals, groups and whole classes.
- Deliver agreed lessons and learning experiences to individuals, groups and whole classes as required.
- Assess the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
- Prepare and provide written and/or verbal reports, evaluations and action plans for Senior Management Team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Be an exemplary practitioner with a love for learning.
- Be motivated and committed to supporting young people in their school environment.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of the curriculum with a drive to support the outcomes of our children within additional needs, their families and staff.
- Be committed to promoting the welfare of and safeguarding of our children.
- Must undertake an enhanced DBS check, all relevant safeguarding and pre‑employment clearances, and provide two satisfactory references.
