This is a unique opportunity to join us on a fixed term basis for two years as a Team Manager in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), which is the Front Door to Children's Services. Team Managers are instrumental in leading a motivated team, implementing quality assurance as standard and being creative to deliver the best possible services and outcomes for our families. The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub brings key professionals together to facilitate quality information sharing, analysis and decision-making, to safeguard vulnerable children and young people more effectively. Staff from across health, children's services, police, and education are based in the MASH at any one time at its base in ONE Friargate in the city centre. Our MASH is the front door to statutory services, applying consistent thresholds based on Effective Support for Children & Families in Coventry.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
We are seeking a reflective Team Manager with a proven ability to lead and develop Social Workers. You will be an inclusive leader who values diversity and promotes a culture of respect, collaboration and continuous improvement and who is committed to creating an environment where every individual feels valued and supported. You will be an enthusiastic and culturally competent leader that can lead, transform and develop the service area to maximise service delivery and optimise performance. You will be committed and passionate about practice, sharing learning and knowledge and developing others. You will have a solid understanding of and be an advocate for the principles of diversity and inclusion in relation to workplace culture and service delivery.
