Earlsdon Primary School is a friendly, successful two form entry school with polite, friendly, hardworking children and a supportive staff team. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s development through sport and learning. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable and keen to make a positive contribution to school life in and out of the classroom.

Who are we looking for?

  • Passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, particularly within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Knowledgeable about child development and effective approaches to supporting young children's learning through structured and play‑based activities.
  • Able to build positive and nurturing relationships with children, families, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Skilled in promoting independence, confidence, positive behaviour and inclusion for all pupils.
  • Able to observe, monitor and report on children's progress and contribute to their ongoing development.
  • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Flexible, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team while using initiative when required.
  • Patient, caring and approachable, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, maintaining confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
  • Willing to contribute positively to all aspects of school life.
