We have fixed term vacancies to support children with special educational needs. Fixed term, to start as soon as possible until 31.8.26 initially, with the possibility of extending further subject to need.
Term and hours: 35 hours a week, 8.30am-4pm, term-time only.
Role: SEND Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support children with special educational needs. We are looking to appoint a person who will share our vision for high quality education for all our children and shows enthusiasm and motivation to:
- Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff and the Special Educational Needs Leader (SENDCO) to help improve educational and social inclusion opportunities and outcomes for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils in and outside of the classroom.
Requirements and safeguarding: We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS is needed for this post. Two references will be taken up for all shortlisted candidates prior to interview or appointment.
