We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to support children with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. The successful candidate will work with a range of children with EHCPs, delivering interventions and supporting both in whole class learning and small group settings. The successful candidate will also provide dedicated 1:1 support for children with EHCPs.

Previous experience of working with children who have special educational needs, disabilities and social and emotional needs is essential. The successful candidate will become part of a wider inclusion team led by the Inclusion Lead which includes a learning mentor, a dyslexia support assistant, speech and language support assistant and a team of EHCP Inclusion Support Assistants.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
