Mount Nod Primary School is a thriving and vibrant school looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual as a Receptionist/Clerical Assistant in our busy school office. Under the direction of the Business Manager, you will work as part of a busy team to provide an efficient and effective reception and clerical support service to the school, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times. We offer the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive team.

Who are we looking for?

  • The successful candidate will have experience of working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills in order to develop close partnerships with staff, children, and parents.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade A-C equivalent).
  • You will have knowledge of Health & Safety and Data Protection and the need to maintain confidentiality.
  • A caring nature, able to support the emotional wellbeing of children in school.
  • You will be required to attend staff meetings and training when required.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS. Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre-employment check with effect 1 Sept 22.
