Come and join us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service – an administrative team that makes a positive difference in supporting Children’s Services daily! We are at the heart of Children’s Services in Coventry, working with colleagues at all levels across the service to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable children and families across the city.

We are looking for people with potential, enthusiasm, a flexible approach and a willingness to develop their knowledge & skills. In this role you will be providing administrative support to a variety of areas the Professional Support Service works within across Coventry and therefore need to be flexible to travel independently to different locations as required. You will be responsible for updating electronic management systems, handling calls, data processing, supporting with note taking and other tasks as appropriate.

Training

You will undertake the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship standard, a fixed‑term contract for 21 months.

  • Appointment will be conditional upon a successful Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Is a self‑starter.
  • Has strong organisational and time‑management skills.
