This is a Library Assistant post, providing the front‑line library service. You will join our team to create a safe, welcoming space for visitors to relax, read, learn, use computers, and participate in events on site or online.

Your main day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • First point of contact for library visitors
  • Using the library computer system and helping people to use IT
  • Answering questions on a wide variety of subjects
  • Participating in events and activities such as rhyme times
  • Moving books around the library
  • Promoting book displays

All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.

This is a part‑time post of 17.5 hours per week, with 13.5 hours at Tile Hill Library and 4 hours at Allesley Park Library on Friday mornings. There will be 2 salary increments for weekend working.
