We are looking for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to join our Key Stage Two team at Southfields Community Primary School, a vibrant and welcoming school in the heart of Coventry. The school has been rated ‘Good’ in its recent Ofsted inspection and is committed to providing high quality learning experiences for our students and staff.

Overview

As a KS2 Class Teacher you will support the delivery of the curriculum, maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour, and work collaboratively with colleagues to improve practice and provision. The role offers dedicated CPD, subject leader time, and a supportive leadership team to help you develop professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach the KS2 curriculum for the class.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
  • Collaborate with the teaching and learning team to develop practice and provision.
  • Participate in structured coaching, mentoring and training led by the Teaching and Learning Lead.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Newly qualified teacher or experienced KS2 teacher.
  • Understanding of the Key Stage Two curriculum.
  • High expectations for achievement and behaviour for all pupils.
