The Children, Staff and Governors of Eastern Green Junior School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our wonderful school community from September 2026. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a lovely, welcoming and highly regarded junior school with a strong reputation within the local community. We are incredibly proud of the positive, supportive culture we have built at Eastern Green and, as a result, staff turnover is exceptionally low. Opportunities to join our team do not arise often.

We are looking for an excellent practitioner who is motivated, hard-working and passionate about making a difference to children's lives. The successful candidate will be able to teach effectively across the Key Stage 2 age range, have high expectations for both learning and behaviour, and work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and caring team.

This post is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers. Whilst the role is advertised as full-time, part-time applications will also be considered. Ms Sara Brown, Headteacher, will be delighted to meet prospective candidates, provide a tour of the school and answer any questions you may have about the role or our school community.

Please be aware that the school will be closed for teacher Training on Friday 22nd May and May half term from Monday 25th May to Friday 29th May.
