- Role Responsibilities
- Assist with basic preparation of food and refreshments, which may include some cooking.
- Assist with setting up serving counters for lunch.
- Assist with general daily cleaning of the kitchen and associated areas.
- Assist with care, cleaning, and maintenance of all equipment in use in the kitchen.
- Assist with washing up of all kitchen items.
- Move dining room furniture when necessary.
- Serve pupils and staff in line with school requirements.
- Report any inappropriate behaviour in line with the behaviour policy.
- Encourage children to take a balanced meal, especially those on special or restricted diets.
- Be aware of children on special or restricted diets for medical reasons.
- General Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain agreed standard of dress and appearance.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out with due regard to Health & Safety.
- Undertake appropriate professional development including adherence to performance management principles.
- Adhere to the ethos and values of the school.
