We are looking to appoint a highly organised and reliable Finance Administrator to support the smooth and efficient running of Tiverton School’s finance and Health & Safety and administrative systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial processes, Health & Safety records and school administration are maintained accurately and in line with school, Local Authority and statutory requirements.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused individual with strong administrative, financial and organisational skills who can work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional manner and a commitment to supporting the wider school community.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in an administration or finance role
- Experience processing financial transactions such as orders, invoices
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
- The ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents and external agencies
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy school environment
- An awareness of Health & Safety procedures and the importance of compliance within a school setting
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
Experience within a school or education setting, knowledge of Financial Management Systems (FMS), and experience supporting Health & Safety administration would be desirable but are not essential.
