The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a new Cover Supervisor role within Key Stage 2 to commence in September 2026. Wyken Croft provides an excellent environment for all stakeholders in the school. Although we are a large primary school in Coventry, we pride ourselves on knowing each child and family individually, allowing our children to achieve their maximum potential. We embed our ‘Seven Steps to Success’ within our culture, which enables our children to be happy, engaged and positive about their futures, striving to be the very best they can be.

Responsibilities
- Undertake appropriate planning and preparation of lessons and courses for individuals, groups and whole classes.
- Deliver agreed lessons and learning experiences to individuals, groups and whole classes as required.
- Assess the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
- Prepare and provide written and/or verbal reports, evaluations and action plans for the Senior Management Team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Exemplary practitioner with a love for learning, motivated and committed to supporting young people in their school environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of the curriculum with a drive to support the outcomes of our children, including additional needs, their families and staff.
- Committed to promoting the welfare of and safeguarding of our children.
- Will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS, all relevant safeguarding and pre‑employment clearances, and obtain two satisfactory references.
