The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a new Cover Supervisor role within Key Stage 2 to commence in September 2026. Wyken Croft provides an excellent environment for all stakeholders in the school. Although we are a large primary school in Coventry, we pride ourselves on knowing each child and family individually, allowing our children to achieve their maximum potential. Responsibilities
- Undertake appropriate planning and preparation of lessons and courses for individuals, groups and whole classes.
- Deliver agreed lessons and learning experiences to individuals, groups and whole classes as required.
- Assess the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
- Prepare and provide written and/or verbal reports, evaluations and action plans for the Senior Management Team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Exemplary practitioner with a love for learning, motivated and committed to supporting young people in their school environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of the curriculum with a drive to support the outcomes of our children, including additional needs, their families and staff.
- Committed to promoting the welfare of and safeguarding of our children.
- Will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS, all relevant safeguarding and pre‑employment clearances, and obtain two satisfactory references.
