We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational individual to lead and manage our Catering Facility at Grange Farm Primary School. The successful candidate will have experience managing a catering facility, be innovative, creative and passionate, and ensure that children have the best experience of healthy eating from a young age.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and serve delicious and nutritious meals for pupils.
- Menu plan and manage budgets.
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of catering staff.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of catering legislation.
- Be customer focused.
- Be articulate and able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Have knowledge of basic ICT.
Qualifications
- Experience of managing a catering facility.
- Experience of creating and cooking healthy, delicious meals.
- Experience of reviewing and implementing change.
- Experience of managing a budget and menu planning.
- Demonstrated knowledge of catering legislation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ICT knowledge.
- Enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks, and two satisfactory references.

Working Hours
This is a term‑time only role with 5 hours per day, 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Annual leave is not permitted during term time.
