Key Responsibilities
- Lead refugee resettlement and respond to future humanitarian or resettlement events, including supporting Afghan and British Nationals arriving under the ARAP and ACRS schemes.
- Take responsibility for the Homes for Ukraine Programme.
- Deliver the Hong Kong BN(O) Welcome Programme, helping arrivals successfully settle in the UK.
- Gather requirements and manage stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Develop dashboards and create clear, accessible visualisations of data.
- Analyse data and generate insights.
- Prepare high‑quality assessments and briefings of data to senior leaders and elected members.
Qualifications
- Experience of working at pace to deliver high‑quality assessment and briefing of data to a range of audiences, including senior leaders and elected members.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and data collection approaches, with the ability to apply the right method in the right context; some experience in survey design and analysis.
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills, maintaining effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external partners.
- Excellent analytical ability, able to deliver insights quickly in a fast‑moving policy environment while managing deadlines and expectations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, tailoring complex data and evidence for different audiences.
- Knowledge of coding languages to enable rapid and reproducible analysis (preferably R or Python).
- Awareness of professional standards, including the Statistical Code of Practice and/or the Government Social Research framework.
Desirable Technical Skills
- Knowledge and application of Power BI, Python, R, SQL, and statistical analysis.
- Advanced use of Power BI and MS Excel, alongside experience with SQL, Python, R, and statistical analysis.
