The Governors of Our Lady of the Assumption Primary School are looking to appoint a Cleaner to support and maintain our school premises from September 2026. We are a friendly and inclusive Catholic school with a happy and motivated staff working towards the best outcomes for our children. We are looking for a new member of our team who will be hard working, enthusiastic and committed.
Responsibilities
- Clean school premises to a high standard during term time under the direction of the Senior School Officer (SSO).
- Work within a team of experienced cleaning staff, following safety and health guidelines.
- Complete cleaning duties confidently and proactively, ensuring a clean classroom, corridors, toilets and other school areas.
- Support the school environment and maintain a supportive working environment.
Qualifications
- Cleaning experience, ideally in an educational setting.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and health standards.
