About the role
Join the IT Development department within a Building Society to help us evolve and improve our processes. We focus on building innovative solutions, enhancing efficiency, and challenging the status quo.
Responsibilities:
- Challenging and improving CI/CD processes, tools, and approaches.
- Collaborating with development, testing, and operations teams to streamline workflows and optimize pipeline efficiency.
- Sharing expertise and experience to drive continuous improvement.
- Work onsite in Coventry once a week and participate in quarterly PI Planning sessions.

About you
To succeed, you should demonstrate:
- Knowledge and experience in software development environments.
- Experience working in Agile, preferably SCRUM, with tools like JIRA.
- Experience with .NET or Microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and ArgoCD.
- Strong version control skills using GitHub or similar.
- Experience with SonarQube/Cloud, GitHub Actions, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of Cloud Technologies, AWS, especially EKS.
- Familiarity with Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Desirable skills include:
- Understanding of Release/Deploy processes.
- Experience with security tools like Snyk integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience maintaining pipelines with ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or similar.
