We have an exciting 12-month secondment opportunity for a Product Owner to work on Forecasting and Stress Testing Group Capabilities Work Stream (FAST). This role involves driving the delivery and execution of forecasting and stress testing capabilities of the group.
The Product Owner will collaborate closely with Product Manager, stakeholders, development teams, and business leaders to ensure the delivery of high-value solutions that meet regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and communicating the progress of the solution
- Managing the product backlog
- Facilitating agile practices
- Ensuring quality assurance and monitoring product performance
- Managing aspects of the product lifecycle
- Facilitating product adoption and business readiness
This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organisations forecasting and stress testing capabilities are robust, compliant, and aligned with strategic goals.
About you
To be successful in this role it's essential that you will:
- Have knowledge of Finance and Treasury Functions
- Have knowledge of Forecasting and Stress Testing
- Have strong stakeholder management skills, particularly when negotiating with stakeholders to manage competing priorities and conflict
- Be experienced in cross-functional collaboration, including workshop facilitation with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Be experienced at presenting progress and updating senior stakeholders aligning to project timelines, with the ability to highlight and resolve issues and blockers
- Have the ability to maintain and update project artefacts such as roadmaps and value cases
Desirable experience needed will be:
- Knowledge of SAFe or Agile delivery methodologies and experience of working within Agile project environments
- Experience within the financial services sector
- Experience of project management software such as Jira
