The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Working in our Data and Analytics Delivery department, the Data Engineer will join on a 12-month fixed-term contract to focus on data migration and integration into our new ecosystem.

The Data Engineer will design, develop, and test quality data engineering solutions, challenging and improving our processes, tools, and approach. The role includes review and assurance activities, providing guidance on design, build, and test activities.

Adhering to standard-driven code development, the Data Engineer will deliver solutions meeting business needs in a timely manner, taking responsibility for testing their solutions, including analyzing requirements, designing test cases and scripts, preparing test data, and executing tests to ensure effective and accurate deliverables.

About you

You’ll have a Data Engineering qualification and/or extensive Data Development experience in a commercial or Agile environment.

To succeed, you should:

  • Have experience with SQL, Python, AWS, Git, and PySpark

Desirable experience includes:

  • SISS or SAS experience
  • Quality Assurance and Test Automation experience
  • Database technologies experience
  • Experience in Financial Services organizations
