Overview

As a Data Ops Engineer you will support design, development and testing of data engineering solutions within cross-functional data product teams.

You’ll act as CI/CD specialist for the Data Office, driving automation and improving delivery quality.

You’ll coach colleagues, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with third-party suppliers to sustain business-critical data solutions, with occasional out-of-hours work.

This role sits in a hybrid, growth-focused Data & Analytics function delivering modern, scalable data services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test data engineering solutions within multidisciplinary data product teams
  • Act as CI/CD specialist for the Data Office; automate data engineering processes
  • Improve delivery quality and drive continuous improvement across tools and ways of working
  • Coach and support colleagues; provide technical guidance and assurance
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers and support business-critical data solutions
  • Occasional out-of-hours support as needed
