We operate on a team‑led hybrid approach with at least 1 day a week in the Coventry or Manchester office. The Data Analytics Specialist plays an important role in empowering business stakeholders to leverage data‑driven insights, optimising decision‑making and driving business growth. This 12‑month FTC role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to develop and implement data analytics solutions that ensure effective use of data and analytics tools. This role is responsible for designing and developing high‑performing, meaningful and value‑driven data products using Cognos Analytics & Power BI. Through this work, the Data Analytics Specialist helps make data accessible to all, enabling it to power the organisation’s future and support business success.

You’re a data analytics professional with a passion for delivering high‑impact solutions that drive business value. You enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders, translating data into actionable insight, and enabling better decision‑making across the business. You’ll be confident working with data tools and visualisation platforms, with strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
For this role you’ll need to have:
- Experience in data analytics, business intelligence or a related field
- Strong problem‑solving skills and an attention to detail
- Technical expertise in Cognos Analytics and/or Power BI (other analytics & BI tools considered)
- SQL coding skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in these areas would be helpful:
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business
- Business analysis skills
- Experience translating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
- Working in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
