Building Services Specialist in Coventry

Our Property department is a vital part of the Society\’s core operations and is the team is responsible for the overall Property strategy and for providing accommodation, physical security, health and safety, and facilities management, across the business. They are also responsible for maintaining and developing the property real estate, through acquisition and disposals, lifecycle asset management, building refurbishments, repairs and maintenance.

The team are now looking for a Senior Specialist Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join them to not only to look after BAU activities, but also to support our exciting Group transformation and ESG roadmap.

The person in role will be responsible for the identification, planning, costing and third-party management of the Society\’s mechanical and electrical services and associated projects works as well as being accountable for all repairs, maintenance and project works carried out in a compliant way, with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements adhered to.

They will be able to deliver to specification, on time and within budget, respond to emergency or changing needs of the Society as required and be a subject matter expert to give advice and support in managing suppliers to SLA\’s.
