We're looking for a Credit Risk Manager to lead our new business credit risk analytics and MI, supporting the Group's strategic objectives and helping us manage and grow the loan portfolio within our risk appetite. In this role, you'll oversee the development of key data and analytics across the credit lifecycle and lead a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality insight is delivered to senior leaders. The role holder will manage, develop and coach a team while actively creating insightful analysis using SAS, Excel and emerging visualisation tools. Location: We operate on a team-led hybrid approach with at least once a month or as business needs in the Coventry & / or Manchester office.

Substantial relevant experience of secured lending and a working knowledge of credit risk policy.

  • Strong hands-on experience using SAS, SQL or Python for credit risk analytics and data manipulation.
  • Experience working in Financial Services, ideally within a credit risk or mortgage lending environment.
  • Knowledge and practical understanding of UK mortgage regulation and associated credit risk processes.
  • Experience coaching, training and developing analysts.
  • Knowledge of Cognos analytics or Power BI.
