Coventry Building Society Group is growing its Corporate & Commercial Banking business in a deliberate and responsible way, focused on building strong, values led relationships with corporate clients. This role is suited to an experienced corporate banker who enjoys complex lending, thoughtful risk‑taking and long‑term client partnerships, and who wants to help grow a business that is safe, sustainable and aligned to mutual values rather than short‑term shareholder pressure.
The role holder will originate, structure and manage a portfolio of corporate clients, leading relationships and delivering lending solutions typically above £15m, including more complex club and syndicated transactions. Working closely with colleagues across Risk, Credit, Legal, Product and the wider Group, they will bring clarity and sound judgement to complex credit decisions from initial discussion through to drawdown. They will also build trusted relationships with advisors and introducers, act as an ambassador for the Group in the market, and balance customer needs, risk and return while enjoying real autonomy within a collaborative, accountable team environment.
