This role will support the design and implementation of Workday business processes, working closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and align with the wider Workday Roadmap. The postholder will use their in-depth knowledge of People/HR systems to provide effective, scalable solutions, lead the change forum, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the colleague experience through optional features and system improvements.
The role is responsible for maintaining robust security provision within Workday, including controls, checks, and adherence to the Security Management – Data Access & Controls document, as well as maintaining integrated People systems such as Eploy ATS and Kallidus LMS. This includes supporting the governance, risk and control framework, researching external trends, and ensuring the system continues to meet high standards of data security and compliance. The role will also support People Services where required to help deliver agreed service levels.
Strong relationships will be central to success in this role, with the postholder building and maintaining productive partnerships and an external network across the Workday ecosystem, including Community, EMEA forums and Client Success Managers, as well as internal stakeholders across the People function and wider business, in particular with recruitment and learning teams. They will challenge requirements constructively, interpret business needs into effective Workday processes, and provide advanced technical support, ensuring Workday continues to have a meaningful and positive impact on business decisions and people outcomes.
We operate on a team led hybrid approach with at least 2 days a week in the Coventry and/or Manchester office.
