This is a key role in the Enterprise Architecture team, providing an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience of Enterprise Architecture and ideally financial services, who can confidently act as a subject matter expert, engaging positively with key business leader stakeholders and where required represent the CBS Technology team internally and externally.

You will be responsible for collaborating with the Business Owners & Sponsors to translate the Enterprise strategy into your portfolio (i.e. manifest in Portfolio Strategic Themes, Portfolio Vision and Guardrails). Role will also involve establishing the portfolio technology strategy and roadmap as well as contributing to helping the portfolio and value streams adhere to the budget guardrails and driving the architectural design for the solution in the portfolio.

You will conduct research and identify prototyping needs, understanding applicability and scope, and assessing the maturity of innovative new technologies and define cross-cutting Enabler Epics, typically spanning multiple value streams and Programme Increments (PIs).

We operate on a team led hybrid approach with 2-3 days per week in the Coventry & / or Manchester office. Role requires travel to other sites for key meetings and collaborative working subject to business demand. Role can be based in Coventry or Manchester.
