We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Eating Disorders Team Lead to join the Children and Young People’s Eating Disorder Service in Coventry and Warwickshire. This is a full time, permanent role within a growing and thriving CAMHS Eating Disorders (ED) day unit and outpatient service. We are keen to hear from nurses who are passionate about making a difference for children, young people, and families.

This role will primarily be based at an identified day unit for Eating Disorders and will provide both operational and clinical oversight of the day unit, while also contributing to the wider, expanding Eating Disorders service. The Trust’s CAMHS Eating Disorders are continuing to expand, with new and exciting care pathways currently in development. If you have an interest in ED, we offer a specialist and supportive environment in which to grow your career.

There will be opportunities to become involved in service development and delivery across a range of initiatives, and we will support you to develop your interests across the whole eating disorder pathway (including CAMHS outpatient, intensive outreach and ARFID).

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the identified team, including patient, team activity, performance, quality and staffing matters.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the transformation programme within the Eating Disorders structure.

This ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities:

  • Generous annual leave entitlement which increases during your time with us.
  • Excellent learning and development opportunities, including apprenticeship frameworks, distance learning, internal training, coaching and mentoring, and much more.
  • Salary sacrifice schemes for lease car/vehicle, Cycle to Work, home and electronics, gym membership and more.
  • Discounts with a range of retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues through our Employee Assistance Programme and NHS discount schemes.
  • Wellbeing support, including an in-house counselling service, external helpline and more.
  • Staff networks and support groups.

We’re always on the lookout for people who share our passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of people in our community, as well as our values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, integrity and respect.
