  • Are you passionate about patient experience?

Role Overview

For the first time, we are embedding lived experience roles across our inpatient mental health services, and we are looking for lived experience engagement facilitators to join us.

Responsibilities

As a lived experience engagement facilitator, you will work on the ward with patients to ensure that those who access our services have a voice that is heard throughout all levels at CWPT from individual ward rounds all the way through to partnership board meetings. You will work closely with several wards, developing good working relationships with patients, carers and staff. You will facilitate sessions and hold spaces for individuals to share ideas on our services and how they are delivered via group sessions and/or one‐to‐ones, and will champion co‐production in the development of all services. You will then work with our transformation workstreams to feed back any information gathered to co‐design our inpatient services. You will be supported by and work closely with the Expert by Experience Development Lead and other programme leads to support the designing of co‐production opportunities and help facilitate engagement sessions for patients to participate in.
