The predicted salary is between 25674 - 28093 £ per year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our friendly multi-agency team and help us on our journey to offering outstanding care for the children and young people (CYP) within Coventry and Warwickshire. Our team consists of mental health nurses, paediatric nurses, learning disability nurses and social workers. It is essential that you have experience working with children and adolescents and/or people in crisis. You should be able to demonstrate holistic care and risk management for the CYP and their family. You will work within a multi-disciplinary approach within RISE and with our colleagues in the acute care setting. Your role will have a key part to play in collaboratively shaping the continued development of the service model for CYP in crisis. You will have experience within mental health and/or social care work where you have supported a young person and/or family directly. You will be working within the trust's policies and procedures and legal frameworks such as NICE guidelines, and collaboratively with our colleagues in the acute trust, social care, key stakeholders and GPs.
Responsibilities
- You will be providing short-term intervention to CYP in crisis.
- You will provide mental health care to CYP and their families in line with local and national guidelines.
- The care you will provide will be in a range of settings such as the RISE community clinics, acute hospital wards, children’s homes or educational settings.
- Your working day within the team will vary and be dependent on the young person’s needs.
- The team operates between the hours of 8 am – 8 pm, Monday-Sunday, with staggered shift patterns.
- This role is a key member of the system approach in terms of collaboration with commissioners, acute trusts and the RISE leadership team, and will lead and shape the evolution of a service model that transforms the care and treatment for CYP in crisis.
