The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team delivering high‑quality vaccination programmes to children and young people across educational settings on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to provide maternity cover.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver immunisation programmes within schools and community settings in line with national and local guidance.
  • Administer a range of vaccinations safely and effectively under Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and national protocols.
  • Support the planning and coordination of immunisation sessions.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Provide advice and reassurance to children, young people, parents and carers regarding vaccinations.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, parents and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
  • Contribute to health promotion and infection prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Must live in the UK.
  • Full Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
  • Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel – mileage will be paid for work‑related travel.
