We’re seeking a Team Secretary to join our Children & Young People’s Learning Disability Services team, providing vital administrative support to our community nursing and therapy teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a professional, confidential, and compassionate administrative service to the clinical team.
- Manage referral pathways, clinic bookings, and patient follow‑up appointments with accuracy, efficiency, and respect.
- Support the Medical Secretaries to coordinate work effectively, demonstrating collaboration and commitment to excellence.
- Communicate sensitively and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues, showing integrity and compassion in every interaction.
- Handle confidential information responsibly, maintaining the highest standards of integrity, respect, and trust.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and uphold excellence in service delivery.
- Support clinicians in creating social stories for service users.
- Support meetings by taking notes.
- Support with Sensory workshops.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a team secretary, medical secretary, or similar administrative role.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and use initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
- A flexible and collaborative approach, with a genuine commitment to delivering compassionate, respectful, and excellent support to both staff and service users.
