Assist in the provision of an effective administrative service across Vaccination services to support the autumn booster program. Work in conjunction with colleagues, service users and stakeholders to provide an efficient clerical support service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient and professional administrative service to the Front Door and MHS team.
  • Data inputting on Excel and SystmOne.
  • Upload referrals on SystmOne.
  • Signpost service users.
  • Word processing including copy typing.
  • Handle aspects of appointments via telephone and face-to-face.
  • Cancel and re-book clinics/appointments as delegated by the Supervisor / Line Manager.
  • Take detailed messages via telephone, dealing with them in a timely and efficient way.
  • Accurately input confidential data using a variety of Trust-IT systems in a timely way.
  • Provide flexible administrative cover as required to meet the needs of the services, including weekend working.
  • Use a computer, either stand-alone or as part of a networked system, and be responsible for the quality of information.
  • Contribute to the creation of a working environment where everyone feels respected, valued and treated with dignity.
  • Follow and adhere to the Trust’s Health and Safety Policies and instructions and be responsible for your own and others’ health and safety in the workplace.
  • Adhere to the Trust’s No Smoking Policy.
  • Take part in an annual performance appraisal.
