Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to join our admin team supporting our Community Paediatric Service at City of Coventry Health Centre. The post holder will play an important role within the team, providing efficient and comprehensive administrative support for the service.

Duties include:

  • Telephone bookings and queries
  • Dealing with referrals
  • Discharging patients
  • Scanning, uploading to our system and sending out appointment letters
  • Liaising with internal and external agencies, other staff members, parents/carers and patients

Working Hours & Location:

Three days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday) from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm based at Wayside House, and two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) providing Reception cover at City of Coventry Health Centre from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a shared inbox and keep waiting lists up to date
  • Work to tight deadlines, ensuring timely and efficient data input
  • Handle patient appointments, including booking block appointments for toilet training sessions
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Scan and upload documents to the electronic patient record system
  • Deal with patient referrals and discharges
  • Respond to patient queries

Qualifications:

Essential requirements include good telephone manner, strong face‑to‑face communication skills with customers/patients/parents, high level of communication skills, attention to detail, good organisational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to concentrate in a busy environment. Familiarity with electronic patient records and accurate record keeping is critical.
