Are you passionate about driving high standards, championing best practice, and making a real difference in healthcare? We\'re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Governance Manager to join our dynamic team for a 12-month maternity cover contract.

What\'s the role? You\'ll play a pivotal part in ensuring our organisation delivers safe, effective, and well-governed services. You\'ll work closely with clinical and operational teams, lead on compliance, risk management, and policy development, and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Main duties of the job

Lead on governance, risk, and compliance activities

  • Support incident management, investigations, and learning
  • Oversee policy reviews and updates
  • Prepare reports for the Board and external stakeholders

Job responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clinical governance documents, policies, and procedures.

Work with and support the administration of governance and reporting systems.

Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organisational policies related to clinical governance.

Help coordinate quality improvement activities, including CQC preparations and outcomes, Health and Safety.

  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Qualification in Governance or a related field
