CU Health and Care Limited (CUHC) is seeking a Lecturer (Teaching) - Clinical/Academic Tutor for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme, a collaboration between Coventry University and The University of Warwick.
The programme aims to develop reflective practitioners and foster innovation in clinical psychology education. We invite HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists to apply for this role, which involves working collaboratively with Clinical or Academic course leads.
Duties Include:
- Support matters related to clinical placement activity
- Contribute to the placement planning, including liaison with placement supervisors
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive teaching and tutorials, including support for organising the academic timetable
- Co-ordinate guest lecturers contributing to the teaching delivery
- Module leadership - contribute to course materials, assessments, marking, and course development
- Contribute to module marking teams
- Provide academic support and mentorship to trainees through individual and group supervision
Qualifications Required:
- Master’s degree in an appropriate subject or Honours Degree with appropriate professional qualification and/or membership
- A teaching qualification or acceptance of the requirement to acquire one if not already held
- PhD or active membership of an appropriate professional body would be advantageous

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong digital fluency and the ability to design engaging teaching materials across diverse media. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of handling sensitive information. The successful applicant will possess exceptional knowledge of psychological therapies theory and practice, expertise in doctoral-level supervision, and outstanding communication and organisational skills.
We welcome applicants looking for part-time hours as well as newly qualified candidates. This position is up to 1 FTE.
