Our client, a leading organisation in the recruitment sector, is seeking an experienced legal professional to lead its in-house advice team and support members on a wide range of employment, commercial, and regulatory matters. You will manage a small legal advice team, oversee service delivery, and act as a senior escalation point for complex queries. The role also includes analysing draft legislation, contributing to consultation responses, and helping shape the future of the recruitment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop the legal advice team
  • Provide timely, accurate advice on employment, commercial, and regulatory issues
  • Oversee contracts, templates, and legal resources
  • Deliver training and produce legal guidance for members
  • Support policy work and legislative analysis
  • Provide internal legal support across the organisation
Skills & Experience:
  • UK qualified solicitor (2–3+ PQE) or equivalent experience in recruitment related legal issues
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law
  • Confident managing specialists and subject matter experts
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication
  • Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills
  • Curious, proactive, and keen to drive innovation
