We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Retail Store Manager to lead our retail team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise retail sales teams, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and operational workflows.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and stock control to ensure product availability and optimal presentation.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop staff through effective employee orientation and ongoing training & development programs.
- Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract customers and increase sales volume.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial recordkeeping to ensure operational efficiency.
- Enforce store policies, manage scheduling shifts, supervise cashiering activities, and uphold safety standards.
Skills
- Proven management experience in retail industry sales team management with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and customer service expertise.
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and inventory control techniques.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Proficient in POS systems, retail math calculations, basic bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrated ability in supervising staff through effective training & development and team management practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
