This is a part-time, on-site role in London for a Play & Youth Worker (Maternity Cover - 9 months/40 weeks) at Covent Garden Dragon Hall Trust, working afternoons and evenings. The Play & Youth Worker will coordinate and deliver engaging activities for children and young people, including play sessions, workshops, and community programmes. Responsibilities include providing planning sessions, fostering positive relationships, and creating a safe and inclusive environment for participants. The role also involves planning activities, collaborating with team members, and providing support to ensure the success of youth services.

Key Responsibilities Summary

Qualifications
  • Experience in Youth Work, play work or education for young people

  • A relevant qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience or interest in working with emerging technologies and creative tools is an advantage
