Our Managed Services team delivers reliable backup and disaster recovery solutions alongside infrastructure support across VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, Nutanix, and hybrid/public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, M365). Key Responsibilities- Backup & DR Operations
- Monitor and manage Veeam Backup & Replication jobs and Veeam for M365.
- Assist with Cloud Connect operations and basic troubleshooting.
- Work with Veeam components such as Veeam ONE and VSPC for reporting and monitoring.
- Support customer onboarding activities by following documented steps and completing handover checklists.
- Participate in scheduled DR testing exercises under guidance.
- Respond to backup-related incidents and service requests via Covenco’s ticketing system.
- Investigate common backup failures and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Provide clear updates and maintain accurate ticket documentation.
- Perform routine operational tasks across VMware, Hyper-V and other Hypervisors.
- Assist with basic Microsoft stack and M365 tenancy administration.
- Learn and support implementation of Veeam backup policies for Azure/AWS and M365.
- Learn and assist with Veeam for Salesforce protection tasks.
- Follow Covenco’s ISO-aligned change process (E-CAB/DCAB, Four Eyes).
- Contribute to documentation such as RAMS and RCA under supervision.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation (approximately 1 in 4 weeks) to provide out-of-hours support for critical incidents.

Hybrid role with ability to commute to our Banbury HQ and Datacentre.
General Requirements:- Ability to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Valid passport (for occasional overseas travel)
- Willing to undergo standard DBS vetting
