Ncounter is supporting a well-established fintech software organisation in hiring a Senior Project Manager into a senior, client-facing delivery role. This role sits within a client services environment delivering complex, front-office technology programmes for global financial institutions. It suits someone who is comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level, leading multiple workstreams, and balancing delivery, governance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning end-to-end delivery of complex software projects from discovery through to deployment
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects across stable delivery teams with varying levels of complexity
  • Acting as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Using data and forecasting models to track delivery timelines, budgets, and resourcing
  • Maintaining strong governance including project plans, RAID logs, and reporting
  • Managing scope, change control, and commercial outcomes in a controlled and pragmatic way
  • Line managing and developing Project Managers, including objective setting, feedback, and career development
  • Supporting account growth through strong delivery, stakeholder confidence, and identification of follow-on work

Key Skills And Experience Required

  • 5+ years experience delivering complex technology projects within financial services, capital markets, or trading environments
  • Proven client-facing delivery experience in demanding, fast-paced environments
  • Strong leadership background with experience line managing and developing project teams
  • Demonstrable experience forecasting delivery using data-driven approaches
  • Formal certification in Agile and or PRINCE2
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working across technical and non-technical audiences
